One of the Provinsi Bali Government's efforts is through the implementation of Peraturan Daerah Provinsi Bali Nomor 1 Tahun 2017 concerning Environmental Protection and Management. However, in practice, various problems remain in Desa Jagapati, such as the direct discharge of livestock waste into rivers, the lack of waste treatment facilities, and low public awareness of environmental cleanliness. This study aims to determine why the implementation of environmental management policies in Desa Jagapati has not been effective and to identify strategies to improve them. The method used was descriptive qualitative, with data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results indicate that the implementation of environmental management policies in Desa Jagapati has not been effective due to low public awareness, weak coordination, and minimal waste management. The main obstacles are a lack of outreach, limited resources, low commitment from implementers, and unclear standard operating procedures (SOP). Improvement strategies include education, the formation of environmental awareness groups, training, the provision of facilities, and a gradual and participatory work structure.
I Gusti Putu Suastina Putra, Gede Wirata, Ni Luh Putu Suastini Copyright (c) 2025 Jurnal Dialektika: Jurnal Ilmu Sosial https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 https://jurnaldialektika.com/index.php/piani/article/view/723 Tue, 30 Sep 2025 00:00:00 +0000 The Relationship Between Recruitment and Selection Practices and Employee Performance: A Study at The Margaya Community Health Center an Majalengka https://jurnaldialektika.com/index.php/piani/article/view/731
Recruitment and selection of human resources are crucial factors in ensuring the quality of public services, particularly within primary health care. The urgency of this study arises from the case of Puskesmas Margaya Majalengka, where employee performance is closely linked to recruitment and selection mechanisms that still face challenges of transparency and competency alignment. This research aims to analyze the relationship between recruitment and selection practices and employee performance, drawing on Human Capital, Person-Job Fit, and Merit System theories. The study employs a qualitative case study approach, utilizing in-depth interviews, observation, and document analysis. The findings reveal that non-merit-based recruitment and selection lead to decreased productivity, mismatched placement, and reduced service quality. The discussion highlights that strengthening competency-based recruitment and selection systems is essential for improving the quality of health services at the primary level.
Fadjar Tri Sakti Copyright (c) 2025 Jurnal Dialektika: Jurnal Ilmu Sosial https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 https://jurnaldialektika.com/index.php/piani/article/view/731 Thu, 23 Oct 2025 00:00:00 +0000 Comparative Analysis of Factors Forming Consumer Protection Law in Indonesia and The Philippines https://jurnaldialektika.com/index.php/piani/article/view/732
Consumer protection law reflects the responsibility of the state in ensuring fairness and justice between business actors and consumers. Global challenges, competition with private banks and fintech, and fraud risks require companies to optimize performance through the implementation of innovative technologies overseen by risk-based internal audits. This study aims to analyze and explain the application of innovative technologies and risk-based internal audits to company performance, analyze how risk-based internal audits encourage innovation and strengthen control mechanisms, and explain how the integration of both contributes simultaneously to performance optimization, particularly in the listed state-owned banking sector (Bank Mandiri, BNI, and BRI). This study uses a descriptive quantitative approach and verification through a literature review and secondary data for the 2023–2024 period. The results show that the implementation of innovative technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Big Data Analytics, Blockchain, and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) has a significant impact on improving company performance. This is evident in the increase in revenue, profit, ROA, and ROE at the three state-owned banks. The implementation of risk-based internal audits has been proven to drive innovation and efficiency through a digital audit system that accelerates the audit process, increases data accuracy, strengthens risk management, and improves fraud detection with the support of AI and data analytics. The results of the correlation test show a strong relationship between innovation technology and risk-based audits (r = 0.56), as well as between risk-based audits and company performance (r = 0.47), indicating that risk-based audits are an enabler for the effectiveness of innovation. The conclusion of the study is that innovation technology and risk-based internal audits result in more optimal, efficient, transparent, and sustainable company performance.
Anisha Natasya, Ricky Agusiady, Haddan Dongoran Copyright (c) 2025 Jurnal Dialektika: Jurnal Ilmu Sosial https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 https://jurnaldialektika.com/index.php/piani/article/view/733 Mon, 27 Oct 2025 00:00:00 +0000 Balance of Rights and Obligations in Governance: an Analysis of Institutional Determinants on Public Bureaucracy Performance https://jurnaldialektika.com/index.php/piani/article/view/740
This study is motivated by the imbalance between the rights and obligations of civil servants, which hampers bureaucratic performance and undermines public trust in local governance. The results show that the winning strategies integrate three main capitals according to Ronald S. Burt's (1995) theory: financial, human, and social capital. Despite facing limited funds, female candidates are able to optimize resources through efficient fund management, increased leadership capacity, and strengthened community-based social networks. This pattern of integrating these three capitals effectively overcomes structural barriers such as patriarchal culture and limited political access. This study confirms the relevance of Burt's three capitals theory in the context of local Indonesian politics, adapting to digital dynamics. Its practical implications emphasize the importance of holistic women's political cadre development and alternative funding policies based on crowdfunding.
Ida Parida , Erlan Suwarlan, Arie Budiawan Copyright (c) 2025 Jurnal Dialektika: Jurnal Ilmu Sosial https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 https://jurnaldialektika.com/index.php/piani/article/view/743 Sun, 02 Nov 2025 00:00:00 +0000 Social Media as a Catalyzer of Social Change Among Generation Z in the Modern Era https://jurnaldialektika.com/index.php/piani/article/view/746
This study aims to examine social issues where social media influences social change among generation Z in the modern era. Social media has become an important element in everyday life, especially for generation Z who grew up in the digital era. As the group most familiar with technology, generation Z uses social media not only to interact and share information, but also as a tool to drive social change. This article aims to examine how social media acts as a catalyst for social change among generation Z. This study uses a qualitative approach by collecting data through literature studies and observations of current social media. The results show that social media provides a platform for generation Z to voice opinions, organize social movements, and fight for social, political, and environmental issues. Social media also facilitates the rapid dissemination of information, allowing generation Z to be more sensitive to various issues and play an active role in various changes. However, there are challenges related to the negative impacts of using social media, such as inaccurate information and increasingly sharp polarity. In conclusion, social media does play a big role as a catalyst for social change, but it also requires responsibility in its use.
Perianto Rahul Pratama Copyright (c) 2025 Jurnal Dialektika: Jurnal Ilmu Sosial https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 https://jurnaldialektika.com/index.php/piani/article/view/746 Fri, 07 Nov 2025 00:00:00 +0000
